Introducing TruNorth Composite Fencing

Introducing TruNorth Composite Fencing

Kapil Tyagi |

As we’ve discussed before on this blog, composite boards aren’t just for decking – they can also be used for building docks and fences! The perks are the same as for composite decking: reduced maintenance costs, longer lifespan, online ordering, and a lovely, natural look.

We recently launched a new composite fencing product: TruNorth Composite Fencing. This horizontal fence system was designed to last – it offers the strength and endurance of aluminum combined with the durability and easy maintenance of our many composite decking and fencing materials.

With the TruNorth Composite Fencing system, slip your composite fencing boards easily down left and right aluminum ‘U’ channels, which are attached to a 3-inch aluminum fence post – you’ll soon be enjoying a residential fence yard that doesn’t warp, crack, lean, or rot, while still providing the privacy and warmth of a real-wood fence. You can also attach a Horizontal Cap Rail to the top of the fence for a clean, finished look.

 Composite decking

TruNorth Composite Fencing is available in an array of colours: Caramel, Stone Grey, Red Bordeaux, Mocha, Amazon Grey, Tigerwood, Ash Grey, Tropical Walnut, Sand, Brulee, Hazelwood, and Brazilian Cherry. Like all our products, it can be ordered online – visit our TruNorth Composite Fencing product page to learn more about ordering options, price, shipping and returns, and warranty.

Composite Fencing vs. Vinyl Fencing

As we discussed in our Composite Decking vs. Wood Decking blog, one of the perceived drawbacks of composite decking, fencing, and dock materials is the price. Some consumers are taken aback by the upfront costs associated with building a composite material fence and opt for cheaper materials, like vinyl.

But there are latent costs associated with these cheaper materials – vinyl is susceptible to fading colours and mildew, and it is more likely to break or chip over time.
