SHIPPING POLICY

Processing Time

We process all orders within 1 business day of receiving them. Accessories can ship across North America, while TruNorth/Clubhouse deck boards are available for delivery in Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Alberta, and select U.S. regions. Lanai deck boards ship anywhere in Canada. Need deck boards delivered outside these areas? Email us at support@compositedeckdirect.com for a custom quote. All deck board deliveries are curbside only, and we’ll confirm your shipping date ahead of time.

Shipping Details

We subsidize shipping costs to keep them affordable (yes, we cover part of the expense for you!). Deliveries and shipments don’t happen on weekends or holidays, but if you need a weekend delivery, reach out—we’ll see what we can do. Our goal is to deliver within 5-10 business days under normal circumstances, though this depends on product availability and factors beyond our control. If you request a specific shipping date, we’ll do our best to meet it, but we can’t guarantee exact timing. Please note that we’re not responsible for delays in shipping or production and cannot offer compensation for them, as these are often outside our influence.

For U.S. customers, you’ll need to unload deck boards from the truck upon delivery to help us keep shipping costs low—so please have the necessary resources ready. Also, keep in mind that some driveways may not accommodate our delivery trailers due to their size.

Shipping Rates & Estimates for Decking/Fencing Boards

Subsidized shipping costs vary based on your pre-tax order size and location—you’ll see the exact rate at checkout before you commit. Prefer to skip shipping altogether? You can opt for free pickup at a location near you, selectable during checkout. Once your order ships, we’ll provide a shipping confirmation number for easy tracking.

Restrictions

We don’t ship to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or certain geographic regions. If checkout flags an “unable to send” error, contact us—we’ll explore options to assist you.

Customs, Duties, & Taxes

CompositeDeckDirect.com isn’t responsible for customs fees, duties, or taxes on your order. While these charges are rare, any fees incurred during or after shipping (e.g., tariffs or taxes) are your responsibility.

Damaged Orders

If your order arrives damaged, please reach out to us immediately at support@compositedeckdirect.com to file a claim. Hold onto all packaging materials and damaged items, and refrain from installing anything affected. Photos of the damage are super helpful—send them our way when you contact us.

Customer Pickups

Planning to pick up your order? If you’re using a closed-sided trailer, truck, or car trailer that can’t be forklift-loaded, you’ll need to load the boards by hand due to liability concerns. Need assistance? We can provide help for a $100/hour labor fee, payable in advance—just let us know. For Ontario customers, please note that legal liability prevents our team from loading loose boards onto your trailer if they can’t be secured properly with a forklift. In such cases, you’ll need to handle the loading yourself.
